With the appearance of the high-spead trains in the 80ties and 90ties the over-annuated train toilets with exvacation on the road bed through a hatch got step by step replaced by vacuum toilets with self-contained tank systems.
Entrance Systems
Dowald develops and produces customer-specific entrance systems for rail vehicles. This equipment is available for in-floor and underfloor installation.
Partitions and Interior Doors
Dowald equips railway cars for regional trains, streetcars and high-speed trains with interior door systems and partitions. The focus of our scope are automatic door systems which we supply including control system and integration to the train bus system.
Hydraulic and Pneumatic Cylinders
We design and manufature hydraulic cylinders in small- and medium-size series according to customer- and project-specific requirements. Here we cover the complete process from the compilation of the specifcation sheet to serial production.
