Dowaldwerke GmbH as it exists since 1st of January 2016 is a merger of two sister companies which are for many years already cooperating closely within the Richard Grießbach Group.
Pneumatik/Hydraulik GmbH has it’s origin at Dippoldiswalde. In the course of German reunification the company has been taken over by the so-called “Treuhand”. Beginning of 1993 the company has been acquired by the owners of Richard Grießbach Feinmechanik.
Dowaldwerke GmbH has emerged from a long tradition factory at Bremen and has been acquired by the owners of Richard Grießbach GmbH in March 2000. Since establishment of the production site at Dippoldiswalde in 2001, there has been a close cooperation with Pneumatik/Hydraulik GmbH – since January 2016 this cooperation has taken the form of one company.
